For shelters & rescues

More continuity.
Less chasing.

Applicants, foster caregivers, records, and handoffs: a placement takes coordination. ZYZO is being built to keep that work connected for rescues, shelters, and public agencies, while your organization makes the placement decisions.

The provider journey

ZYZO is preparing to launch. Booking and accounts aren’t open yet.

Designed around your everyday

Keep your team connected
around each animal.

01

Keep the case with your team.

A placement should not depend on one person’s inbox. Assign applications, cases, foster periods, and tasks to a member or team, with a named backup. If someone leaves, their open assignments will pass to backups and the records will stay with your organization.

02

See where your attention is needed.

Waiting applications, meeting reminders, and task digests will help your team see what needs a response. They will support the next action while your organization keeps control of placement decisions.

03

Give foster caregivers a clear way to ask.

Requests for veterinary care, supplies, permission, or a move between caregivers will stay with the animal’s foster record and reach the responsible team. The person responding can see the context without piecing together separate messages.

04

Keep handoff details together.

Documents, disclosures, fee status, custody changes, and agreed follow-up will stay connected to the placement. Required items will be checked before a handoff is recorded. Transferred records will keep their source and date, with follow-up limited to what was agreed.

One animal. A connected team.

Care that carries through the handoff.

A foster caregiver needs supplies while their usual contact is away. Here is how the planned flow will keep the request with the people who can help.

  1. Ask

The caregiver will send a supplies request from the animal’s foster view.

  2. Coordinate

The request will reach the assigned member, or the backup while that member is away.

  3. Continue

The response will stay with the case, giving the team a shared record of the next step.

The money, plainly

Zero commission on fees and donations.

ZYZO will take no share of adoption fees or donations. Your organization will set its adoption fees and cover payment-processing costs. Donations will have their own receipts, separate from adoption fees. Donors may choose to cover donation processing.

Good questions

Questions, answered.

Will ZYZO decide who adopts an animal?

No. Your organization will make the decision. Foster caregiver recommendations can inform your team, but will not approve, decline, or rank an applicant. You’ll be able to reserve selected decisions to the roles, teams, or members you name.

Does this replace our shelter management system?

No. ZYZO is being designed to support placement and care coordination. Planned data feeds will be read-only. It will not allocate kennels, calculate legal holds, dispatch animal control, or plan transport routes.

Can we take our records with us?

Yes. Administrators will be able to export your organization’s data, including animal and placement records, tasks, activity history, and signed documents. Optional settings will let you limit volunteers’ access to private details and reserve selected decisions.

Will every rescue be able to receive donations?

Donations are planned for the website and Android. On iPhone, only organizations with Apple approval will be able to receive them. Donations will not be requested during applications or offered to individual rehoming pet parents, and processing costs will be stated separately.
